Lorman survived as an unofficial language until the mid 30th century when the Communist Party of Dorvik announced that the Dundorfian language would be adopted to better unite the continent of Artania. General-Secretary Raymond Petrov stated that Lorman is an essential piece of the Dorvish cultural character and should not be forgotten. It is common to see Lorman still taught and used throughout mainland Dorvik where it remains popular with mainland nationalist. Lorman is a common second language on mainland Dorvik, where some schools teach Lorman first before the actual Dorvish language.
