The Kapsilus Arms Company is an arms manufacturer based in St. Petersburg Sector, the second largest in the Confederation of Colonial Republics at the time it was bought out. It was closely associated with Anatoly Kodygin's Federalist government. Towards the end of the 5th Century R.T. House Dresden began attempting to aggressively acquire Kapsilus Arms assets. With the success of the Novembrist revolution , the company's fortunes took a downturn, leading to it being bought out in a hostile takeover by House Dresden after holding its own for years in a lengthy corporate war. Emil Kapsilus 's death was the final nail in the coffin of the company's financial independence, and Dresden was able to acquire it as a wholly owned subsidiary from Kapsilus's successors on the board of directors.
