Let's see, in 2267 we had Hortas, a Klingon war, and a Gorn incursion. 2367, on the other hand, had Picard grappling with a race of people who spoke in metaphor (that's a scary foe), and throwing a pity party because he killed 39,000 fellow officers and crew. The times, they was a-changing.

* The USS Enterprise-D is severely damaged following an attempt to destroy the Borg cube, and is unable to join the fleet massed at Wolf 359. William T. Riker is field-promoted to captain of the Enterprise, and he chooses Borg specialist Commander Shelby as his first officer. At the Battle of Wolf 359, a total of 39 Federation starships are destroyed by the Borg and 11,000 lives are lost, including Benjamin Sisko's wife, Jennifer Sisko. Riker eventually devises a plan to recover Jean-Luc Picard, assimilated as Locutus of Borg, and the Enterprise crew use him to exploit the weakness of the Borg Collective interconnectedness. - Als Bea nachts erneut von einem verstörenden Traum heimgesucht wird, glaubt Ingo, dass sie noch immer von ihrem schlechten Gewissen wegen ihres Seitensprungs verfolgt wird. Er versichert Bea liebevoll, dass er das Kapitel hinter sich gelassen und ihr voll und ganz verziehen hat. Doch als Bea sich am nächsten Tag plötzlich an das Ende ihres Traums erinnert, wird ihr klar, was er tatsächlich zu bedeuten hat. Christoph tut Vanessas Rückkehr aus Boston sichtlich gut. Doch dann steht Sylvies Trauerfeier an. Christoph will zuerst nicht hingehen, fährt dann aber trotzdem zum Friedhof. Genau wie Vanessa, die ihn unterstützen will.
