Eizenga proved to be an affective and popular leader. Just months before the 2703 elections, Eizenga announced her resignation. She stated that her goal was to clean up Baltusia, and that she had succeeded in doing so. She also put an end to Executive Committee elections. She called for those positions, including Deputy Leader, to be appointed by the leader. Following her resignation, she resumed her law practice until her death.
