The 2015 Lurberan general election was an election that was held on October 5, 2015. The leader of the ruling United Left coalition, Polen Humaras, announced on April 7, 2015 that he would be running for a second term as Prime Minister of Lurberas, having first been elected in the previous election on October 7, 2013. The election ended in a hung chamber, meaning no party has a majority in the House of Delegates, the first hung chamber in almost three decades. Although they won the popular vote, the United Left lost a considerable amount of seats and the majority in the House of Delegates, losing 15 seats to the LFU and 11 seats to MR. This compelled the UL to look into a possible 'super-coalition' with MR in order to create a more stable and stronger government for the 2016-17 term. Murse
