In 43 ABY, the Black Wave was among the ChaseMasters taken to Dathomir in order to confront Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker and convince him to join the Sith in an alliance to eliminate Abeloth. After Taalon's death in battle on Pydyr, the vessel fell under Sith Saber Gavar Khai's command. In 44 ABY, when Abeloth attacked the Sith capital city of Tahv, Khai commanded the Black Wave to support Abeloth.
