Reportedly she was an active woman until aged 100. She used to walk long distance to a local church every day. Her diet included dairy products, cooked meat and rice. In 2008, she was recognized as the oldest living resident of Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. She died on July 18, 2010, being one of the last two surviving people in Poland, born in the 19th century. She lived in Końskie with her family.
