| Synopsis
| - Green Arrow is voted in as a member of the Legion of 100 Archers, but Speedy gets blackballed and can't join, but that's just part of a cunning plan of Green Arrow's; Speedy does get voted in at the end of the story.
- Johnny Chambers visits the lab of Professor Rollins, a chemist. Rollins has created a speed formula which he secretly gives to Johnny. Johnny Quick is forced to use his speed and give away his secret identity, but the professor believes the formula works. To protect his identity, Johnny must convince the professor that the formula works and also that it should not be used. Rollins distributes the chemical to a boxer and waiter. Johnny uses his own speed to fake theirs and convinces them to stop using the formula. Then he also convinces the professor.
- When engine trouble forces a passenger plane to lighten its load, cargo is thrown into the ocean. Amongst the cargo is a chest of diamonds. They are insured, but the insurance company offers a reward for their recovery. Treasure hunters begin a search for the sunken chest. Aquaman must rescue several inexperienced divers, so he vows to retrieve the chest. When he finds it empty, he suspects that the diamonds were never in the chest. He replaces the diamonds with ice, then returns with the filled chest. The crooks who took the real diamonds give themselves away when they see the ice. They caused the plane trouble in order to jettison the fake ice diamonds, keeping the real ones and the insurance money in the process.
- A magic belt Lewis Lang brings back from Easter Island gives Lana super-powers. She becomes Sky-Girl, a lead-masked heroine, and gives Superboy competition in Smallville.
