Song of the Light is the official national anthem of the Republic of Derhaland. It was composed by Derhish composer Aimíle Taríbas as part of her first symphony, the Sunlight Symphony, in 1934 to hopefully become the new national anthem. It was voted to be the national anthem later that year, on election day, 24 September 1934. It continues to stand as the nation's anthem to the present day, although it has been challenged by others songs. A modification of the song to be less classical was submitted to Eurovision song contest in 1958.
