Colonial Independence Day was a holiday and celebration of full secession from the Unified Earth Government on the colony of Victoria. In 2538, the Victorian parliament declared an official holiday and day of celebration on August 5th of every year to commemorate the declaration of the Victorian Independent State as a sovereign government, and Victoria as an independent colony.
