- Co-Op Mode is the ability to play cooperatively with a friend using a second controller. For every game in the series, the multiplayer premise has been the same; two players can play (in hubs, bonus levels, and normal levels in every mode). Two people can play together, P1 or P2 alone, and either can drop out at any time. There are a few extra things; in LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, there was a Multiplayer Battle Arena that took place on stages to knock each other out for points. Also, there is one exception to the rule; in the level Darth Vader, the players cooperate together to escape the crumbling area, and then battle each other for victory, playing as either Anakin Skywalker or Obi-Wan Kenobi.
- The Co-op brand has been used by various companies, associations or groups, and simply can signify any cooperative or group(s) that cooperate with its member-owners. The members each own shares or parts of the cooperative, which can give them voting rights towards the Co-ops activities, business, investments, etc... These shares can often be bought or sold, and the members can be individuals, other smaller co-ops, or privately-owned businesses. Co-ops exist, or have existed, for agriculture, groceries, dry-goods/general merchandise, hardware, electric providers, etc...
- Co-op is the system by which two players can play Fable II and Fable III together, either offline with a second controller, or online over Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live. Through extensive testing of the system, a lot of the information needed for Fable II and Fable III has been put here for your convenience. Please understand that it is not yet complete and relies on the help of other players to become complete. A good example of this is Live co-op gameplay information not being available.
- Co-op Mode is a mode featured in both Dead Rising 2, Case West, Off the Record and Dead Rising 3 allowing two players to play together in the Fortune City game area. This allows players to work together to defeat difficult bosses, complete cases, escort survivors, and generally play around in the game world. In Dead Rising 2, both players play as Chuck. Players are able to import a Chuck from their game files In Off the Record and Case West one player controls Chuck Greene and the other controls Frank West.
- Several thousand people chipped in to buy this AC. The prize money is to be divided up, but the pilot rarely wins and the investors are beginning to lose hope.
- Saints Row, Co-op is limited to only a handful of missions that are specifically created for Co-op play. All sequels can be played entirely in Co-op, including freeroam and all missions and activities, which have differences to accommodate the second player. All games have achievements that are only obtained by playing Co-op. Some of the achievements require doing all the missions or activities with a Co-op partner. In those cases it is usually easier to start a new game to ensure both players are at the same completion level.
- Co-op is a game mode in the Team Fortress series. In this mode, the player (and some friends, if he/she want them) must beat the single-player levels in the original Quake. Classes can be picked when the player returns to the Introduction map via beating an episode. In Co-op, ammo and Armor (but not Medkits) automatically respawn after a certain amount of time. In addition, all grenades held will disappear when a saved game is loaded, even if the loaded game is in the same map that the save was loaded from.
