Simplicity 1579; ca. 1946; A bow, which ties at the center front causing a soft drape, is joined into the front seam between the bodice and facing. Soft gathers at the lower edge release easy bodice fullness and the dress is finished with a front button closing. The skirt is seamed at either side of the center front and back. Style 1 has three quarter length sleeves and Style 2 has cap sleeves with slightly lowered armhole. Featured in Simplicity Prevue Magazine, April 1946
