Paragloombas are Gloombas with wings. If Mario jumps on them, they lose their wings and become regular Gloombas, in much the same fashion as Paragoombas would become regular Goombas when jumped on. Since they live in damp areas, it's possible the wings are made of mold, as suggested by both Goombario and Goombella. Like Paragoombas and Hyper Paragoombas, they attack by swaying into their target. Sometimes the Paragloombas may have an HP Plus that raises its HP to 12.

| - That's a Paragloomba. It's a Gloomba with wings. Max HP is 7, Attack is 3, and Defense is 0. It's like a stronger version of a Paragoomba*. And maybe that's all there is to it. I wonder if living down here ever makes its wings moldy? EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYUCK! It's too gross to even think about! Bleck!
