Kurd von Schlözer (5 January 1822 - 13 May 1894) was a German historian and diplomat. He served as German ambassador to the United States from 1874-1881. He was then sent to the Vatican, and was instrumental in healing the breach between Germany and the papacy caused by the May Laws.
