The first Kalandar was drinking with his nephew. Having agreed that he would obey whatever his nephew wished, he buries his nephew with a beautiful lady. The next day, he returns to his father's palace but is imprisoned by the Wazir, who has taken power. As the Calendar once accidentally took the Wazir's eye, the Wazir puts out one of his eyes and has him sent to be killed. However, the executioner takes pity on him and sets him free. He finds his uncle, but the Wazir is now attacking the uncle's kingdom and the uncle is killed. The Kalandar flees to the city in disguise to ask for help, and meets the other Kalandars.
