However, Eric Pollard helped Rodney get off the hook by meeting up with old friend Giles Darcy, who had tricked Rodney into buying his stolen items following an antique raid. Eric managed to get Giles to admit to what he did to Rodney, before Eric asked a man at the table next to them if that was enough information. The man revealed himself to be an undercover officer and arrests Giles.
