The fact that Horn's body was discovered wrapped in a carpet from one of Creason's hotels does make him a prime suspect early on, but, sadly for the general scales of justice, he alibis out in every particular of this case. His lawyer, however, seems largely inept, kept around presumably for something other than her legal expertise. He is a very sad man, who is always depending on others to relieve him
