How2Help
  • The Housing Authority is committed to helping low income families become self-sufficient and independent of government aid. In 1994, in response to a growing gap of resources, the Housing Authority established a non-profit 501 organization called Program Responsible in Daring Excellence in order to raise funds for programs and activities that promote self-sufficiency. P.R.I.D.E. funds have been used to fund: * Scholarship grants ; * Incentive activities and awards for families achieving self-sufficiency goals; * Related activities for programs focusing on self-sufficiency; and * Services for the elderly.
