Scoots (short for "Scooter"; voiced by Jim Begg), the smallest in stature among the Cattanooga Cats, is the band's upright bass player; on several of the videos, he's also seen playing banjo or bass guitar. As well, he can deploy The Magic Crayon in an emergency to create anything and everything out of thin air. In appearence, Scoots is a grayish tabby wearing an orange-and-maroon hillbillyesque hat, orange sweater with maroon vest, and jeans or orange stretch pants, depending on the setting.
