Miles Vorkosigan told Ekaterin of "Lord Vorventa the Twice-Hung" in the Time of Isolation, who presumably was hung once for a crime, then exhumed and hung again for another crime. The title suggests but does not prove the existence of a Count Vorventa. The only Vorventa to appear in-series was Edwin Vorventa, who played a minor but crucial role in the events of Mirror Dance, though there was also mention of a Tatya Vorventa, who'd once had hopes of marrying Ivan Vorpatril.
