The Ciril (S."Deep-cutting River") was one of the two main watercourses in the Lamedon vale, and was the principal tributary of the Ringló. The Ciril was fordable at Calembel, but its depth was nevertheless too variable to permit navigation by anything besides flat-bottomed boats. Above Calembel, the river was not navigable at all. Like all other major rivers of southern Gondor, the Ciril had its sources in the White Mountains.

  • The river Ciril (also spelled Kiril) is the third of the Seven Rivers of Gondor. It arose in an isolated peak south of the White Mountains in the north of the Gondorian region of Lamedon, and flowed south past the city of Calembel until it met the river Ringló, and as part of that river flowed towards Edhellond.
  • Shorty after the Triad returned from the dead, former member Xar sought to take revenge on them. In an attempt to get rid of the Triad, ordered his demons to go to the Halliwell Manor and warn the Charmed Ones that the Triad was back. Ciril went to the manor dressed as a police officer and tried to warn them. However, Christy Jenkins sensed he was a demon. Ciril still tried to warn the sisters, but was quickly vanquished by Christy.
  • Ciril (Sindarin: Schiffglanz) war ein kleiner Fluss in Lamedon, Gondor. Seine Quelle lag in den Ered Nimrais. Er mündete in den Ringló. Seine Länge betrug etwa 110 Meilen.
