  • The 1st Royal Sikh Division, also known as the First Division of the Royal Sikh's, is a thirty thousand strong unit of the UNSC Army. The Royal Sikh Division was created in the 2302, in order to allow religious members of the Sikh community to serve in the UNSC Defence Force in an atmosphere conducive to their religious convictions. Like all religions on Earth, Sikhism saw a huge numbers of its followers abandoned their chosen religion as humanity moved out amongst the stars. Like some forms of Christianity, Sikhism turned to self-sufficiency and independence but also gained a certain edge of militarization after the Indian-Iranian Nuclear Exchange in the 21st Century.
