Fallen Leaves Mask was sent with the Zolder Ninja corp as a diversionary tactic to delay the Gorengers from assisting Shinmei and Kumano after Varidreen was brought down by a Battler and to prevent them from reaching the invasive Black Cross Castle as it destroys a major section of Tokyo. During an initial battle, the Gorenger have a hard time dealing with him and the Black Cross ninjas, allowing for him to set up a bomb that would seal off the disabled Varidreen forever within a cave; however the ship is ultimately saved due to the claw attachments on Varitank to dig it out.
