Previous The remaining British government retreats to Canada (CYOAH) Eisenhower decided to remove the threat next door. Japan was increasing power in Asia and the Pacific and there was a strong possibilty of a war on the American mainland. So most Allied units were placed in either the Pacific islands or on the West Coast. The Japanese High Command were disconcerted by this new move and were unsure how to carry on.
