Lieutenant General Henry Doctor, Jr. was the Commanding General, 2nd Infantry Division, Eighth United States Army, based in the Republic of Korea (South Korea). His last assignment was as an Inspector General of the U.S. Army. In 1954, he graduated from South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and is a member of Omega Psi Phi. He earned his Master of Arts from Georgia State University. He is a graduate of United States Army War College and U. S. Army Command and General Staff College.
