When the Rift Maker was destroyed, the Borg Queen and Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise-E ordered the armada to return through Rift Alpha. Along with the rest of the armada, the Michigan returned savely to the Hurik system, where the Federation-Borg alliance was called off by Picard, and the Borg were escorted back to the Borg transwarp portal.
