The Ásólto I-class War Robot (Ásólto is Ingzan for Assault) was a model of battle droid produced by Dezendyan Corporation and was a clone on the ancient Mark I assault droid produced by Czerka Arms. The Ásólto Mk I was the first mark of the Ásólto-class War Robot line. As with the original version, the standard Á-I model was a capable defender, but had little in the way of advanced programming, however upgraded models existed which had superior programming, allowing them to learn instead of being programmed for just one tactic.

abstract
  • The Ásólto I-class War Robot (Ásólto is Ingzan for Assault) was a model of battle droid produced by Dezendyan Corporation and was a clone on the ancient Mark I assault droid produced by Czerka Arms. The Ásólto Mk I was the first mark of the Ásólto-class War Robot line. As with the Mark I assault droid the Ásólto I had a single foot and used its "arms" to help it move around, these "arms" contained a blasters in the backs of them, which would face forward when the droid contracted into firing position, these arms could also be used to bludgeon enemies for huge blunt trauma damage, the droids hit their opponents with such force that it wasn't unknown for them to break bones. As with the original version, the standard Á-I model was a capable defender, but had little in the way of advanced programming, however upgraded models existed which had superior programming, allowing them to learn instead of being programmed for just one tactic. As with other Dezendyan Corporation droid models, these droids were commonly deployed as security forces aboard Dezendyan, Imperial and N'Akkiarlian ships and bases, where they excelled due to their Close Quarters Combat nature, they were also deployed as soldiers at times, however it was more common for less unwieldy droids such as the Séntínel-class War Robot to serve as soldiers. Á-I's did have a Vocabulator, however they were generally limited to one-word sentences, which were usually about the droid's battle status, or giving acknowledgement when a commander ordered them to do something. Though the more advanced models were capable of giving answers longer than one word. They spoke in a deep, masculine, monotone voice. BLUD-GEON!—A Ásólto I droid's typical exclamation before bludgeoning an enemy with their arms
