Synopsis
| - Simon, Tom and Beth arrive at Sacred Martyr Church. Simon finds traces of Gus' blood on the frozen ground. Simon learns that Tom's interaction with his evil progenitor has left bits of shared memory between the two. Simon telepathically bonds with Tom and learns where his progenitor has taken Gus.
They race to the scene to find the original creation mercilessly beating Gus into a bloody ruin. The monster prepares to finish him off, but Tom intercepts him and the two fall to the ground. While Tom and the monster fight, Simon rushes to Gus' side. Gus is dying and he expresses remorse over never telling Simon that he loved him. Simon likewise shows regret for never having called him "father".
Gus dies and Simon is overwhelmed with a sense of rage. He takes his twisted "brother" in both hands and effortlessly tears him to pieces. Tom revives from his battle with the monster, but when he looks up, he sees Simon and Gus wrapped within the tentacles of a hideous creature that suddenly appears in the air above him.
