- Derrick Goodwin (born 6th July 1935) directed 2 episodes of Coronation Street in May 1971. He began his career in stage management and later became an assistant director at the Royal Court Theatre. He was co-founder of the Living Theatre Company and has directed over one hundred theatrical plays including some of his own composition. Other theatre companies that he's worked for are the Open Air Theatre Regent's Park, the Dundee Repertory Theatre, the Citizens Theatre, Glasgow, the new Close Theatre Club, the Ipswich Arts Theatre and the new Nottingham Playhouse.
