  • The Academy of Jedi Archaeology was an academy that studied the history of the Jedi and Sith. Made up of Jedi Researchers, the Academy sponsored studies on Ossus and Onderon during the Great Sith War. Working closely with the Exploration Corps, the Academy's members would decipher texts and uncover artifacts before turning it over their peers in the Educational Corps. During the seduction of Exar Kun to the dark side of the Force, Kun traveled to Onderon and told Jedi Master Arca Jeth that he had authority granted unto him by the Academy to study the ancient Sith artifacts that Jeth had stored on the planet. Gaining access, Kun continued on his spiral into darkness. Following the Ruusan Reformation the Academy continued its work with the EduCorps and the ExplorCorps, helping to update the Jedi Archives as new things were discovered.
