The Place de Cochrane was a noted location in Paris on Earth, near the Champs-Élysées. It was presumably established in honor of Zefram Cochrane sometime after the mid 21st century. The Place de Cochrane survived into the 24th century, and was one of the landmarks visible from the Presidential Office in the Palais de la Concorde. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
