  • Once Upon a Time... was the first-ever promo written by Krimson Mask during June 2006 in the Pyromania 8.1 trash-talking thread. The promo introduced The Tales of Krimson Mask promos, and gave background regarding the Krimson Mask and Little Red Riding Hood characters.
  • Once upon a time in a far away (or not-so-far away, depending on where you live) kingdom (the United Kingdom, to be exact) there was young, smart and fairly attractive girl named Marian. Marian had a nice life, a loving mother and father and was loved by all of London until one dark day when her father died and her mother married a man that was only interested in the family fortune. The man, Williams, didn't like Marian at all and treated her very badly. Marian's mother, however, was fascinated with the man and didn't notice this. Marian suffered for years, until her fifteenth birthday, when she ran away from home. After leaving her extravagant home, she caught a cab.

"Where d'you wanna go, Miss?" the cab driver asked. "I don't care," Marian replied. "Just take me far, far away from here." "Well, I need a specific place to take you," the driver pointed out. "That's the way this thing words, young lady." Marian pulled out a map of the UK. "I'd like to go...here," she said, setting her finger down at random place. The driver stared. "I can' drive you all the way to Aberdeen!" he protested. "That'd be ridiculous!" "Well, then drive me to an airport and I'll catch a flight to Aberdeen," Marian suggested. Exasperated, the driver took off for the nearest airport. However, on the way there, Marian changed her mind; Aberdeen wasn't quite far enough away from her evil stepfather. She needed to go farther away. How far should she go? To France? America? Russia? Australia? Antarctica? "Well, here we are," the driver told her. "London Heathrow Airport." "Thank you, sir," Marian said politely (for she was a very polite person, unlike her evil stepfather) as she climbed out of the cab. As she looked at all the possible destinations she could go to, she finally made her decision; she would go to Lima, Peru. That seemed to be remote enough. Her family would never look for her there; they would just go to the big, proper cities like Paris or New York. There weren't exactly a lot of people on the Lima, Peru flight and Marian, unfortunately, got stuck next to an entomologist guy who couldn't stop talking about bugs. Marian tried to politely listen to him, but she found the subject pretty boring. After landing in Peru, she realized that she had forgotten to consider the fact that the people there might not speak English. "Does anyone here speak English?" she asked hopelessly. "Anyone?" "I do," a voice answered. The voice came from an American boy about her own age. "Oh, thank goodness," Marian answered. "My name is Marian Wright. Who are you? Where are your parents?" "I'm Michael Anderson," the boy replied. "Where are your parents?" "They're back home in London," Marian explained. "I'm on the run from my evil stepfather." Michael looked astonished. "You're kidding, right?" he asked her. "No, I'm serious," Marian insisted. "What's so unbelievable about it?" "Well, nothing," Michael replied, "except that I'm on the run from my evil stepmother." "You're kidding," Marian said in surprise. "I kid you not," Michael replied, "my real mother died and then Dad married this nasty woman who only wanted the family fortune." "That's exactly what happened to me!" Marian said excitedly. "We have a lot in common, don't we?" "Yeah, I guess we do," Michael said nonchalantly. "Who'd've thought anything like this could ever happened?" "Not me," Marian said cheerfully. "So...where are we going to stay?" "I don't have anywhere to stay," Michael said. "I just got here." "Well, we are in an airport, aren't we?" Marian pointed out. "Yes, that's true," Michael agreed. "Let's say we go find somewhere to stay." "Okay, then," Marian agreed as they exited the airport together. However, Michael and Marian found the city of Lima, Peru was bigger than they thought it would be. Therefore, they decided they needed to go somewhere more remote. With their combined savings, they bought a car and decided they would drive out to remote village somewhere.
