The Suicidal Pedestrians powerup makes all pedestrians lose their will to live, thus, they try to run towards the cars, both the player's and the opponents', rather than avoid them. They smack themselves against the vehicles, as little blood droplets can be seen, but this isn't enough to kill them, even though the impact can move the car slightly. Using Turbo Pedestrians makes their smacks harder, and some of them can actually hurt themselves seriously.

If the car is in mid-air (for instance, after jumping with Kangaroo on Command), the pedestrians will gather under the car's position. It's easy to imagine what happens next.
