George Truitt was a journalist and radio broadcaster working for KGHI in Little Rock, Arkansas. Truitt was the first journalist informed and to report on the Hale Vaccine. Truitt arrived at Freedom Base One on 25th September 1953 after travelling 150 miles from his transmitting site to the Ozark National Forest, where President Thomas Voss' Government resided. It was in an interview that Truitt conducted that day that President Voss announced the success of the Hale Vaccine, providing Truitt with evidence in the form of being shown the testing labs as well as Truitt being innoculated.
