FK Vorkuta is a Uralican football (soccer) club. Surprisingly, it was founded pre-Cataclysm, unlike most football teams from that area, but it did not turn completely professional until 2009, just before it was invited to join in Bolakliiga 2009 (it was not part of Uralica at the time, however that area was fully annexed by season's end). It was founded as Vorkutaugol Vorkuta, but changed its name to FK Vorkuta post-Cataclysm after the coal supply ran out. It was a force in the post-Cataclysm Komi Republic until around Great War III, where Syktyvkar and Ukhta clubs began taking over the field.

Its first Bolakliiga season wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't particularly bad either, with them finishing 13th overall, two back of Zavod Ural Solikamsk. A bright spot on their roster is talented striker Yoel Pankov, who is a regular fixture on the Uralican men's national football team.
