Tweedsmuir House was a 14 storey tower block in the Niddrie Marischal area of Niddrie, Edinburgh. Approved in 1968, construction was undertaken by Hart Bros using the Bison technique. The building contained 57 flats. It was demolished in 1994 after major socio-economic problems had hit the area. The initial demolition failed after the explosions failed to topple both towers, Tweedsmuir House and its identical neighbour, Teviotbank House. They were brought down six hours later by a giant hydraulic ram from Wishaw in Lanarkshire called Big Willie.
