rdfs:comment	__FORCETOC__ Image:Help.png Faora was a Kryptonian soldier, the second wife of General Zod and the "mother" of Doomsday. Sister Faora is a member of the Osiris cult. She and Brother Vance are the two known surviving members of the cult. After learning about the Guardians traveling to the Reef, she told Vance to go there to tell Guardians about the Cult and give them passage to the Trials of Osiris. On the parallel-universe of Earth-One, Faora Hu-Ul was a serial killer born on the planet Krypton. She was a beautiful woman, who was self-professed "man-hater". She targeted only male Kryptonians and ran a concentration camp where she kept other Kryptonians as slaves. Faora Hu-Ul claimed over twenty-three lives before she was arrested. Faora was sentenced to over three-hundred years of incarceration inside the Phantom Zone - the longest sentence ever handed to a female prisoner, and the second-longest sentence over all. As Faora was trapped inside the Phantom Zone, she, along with many others, survived the destruction of Krypton. She met other Phantom Zoners including military leader General Zod and Jax-Ur. Jax-Ur's knowledge of Jewel Kryptonite technology paved the way for their escape, —Faora Ursa, also known as Faora and by other names in various continuities, is a Kryptonian supervillain, and companion (and lover, in some versions) to General Zod. She is a man-hater, although her two companions, Zod and Non, are both male. She is a prisoner of the Phantom Zone. In nearly every depiction of the character, it seems that her primary crime was related to her hatred of men. In the silver age comics in which she was introduced, she ran a concentration camp for men, and killed 23 in the process.
