He had his career debut at Rockingham, where he started 30th and finished the race in 28th. His next start, at Bristol, went much better. He started that race 29th and finished 14th, the better of his two races. Sharp currently owns two ARCA cars, highlighted by Chase Miller. He is also a former co-owner of Woodard Racing and now owns the Eddie Sharp Racing team in ARCA and East Series competition.
