Judgement Day was the name given to two battles in the Grudge Match Special at the end of Robot Wars: The Second Wars. The first grudge dated back to a judges' decision in The First Wars when Recyclopse (the original robot of Team Cassius) controversially defeated Mortis for a place in the Grand Final. The Mortis team believed that they had won, and argued vehemently against the decision, and a lot of people were very surprised, although pleasantly, at the outcome. Rob Knight suggested at the time that a rematch take place. The second battle was officially named Judgement Day 2.
