abstract
  • Docking Bay 94, one of Mos Eisley's 362 docking bays scattered throughout the city, was where the Millennium Falcon waited to rendezvous with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, and C-3PO and where a notorious meeting between Jabba the Hutt and Han Solo took place about a spice shipment tragedy Solo had never paid back. Ohwun De Maal and his wife owned this bay along with five others nearby. The docking bay was owned by Ohwun's father and his grandfather before him. Docking Bay 94, like all of the bays in Mos Eisley, consisted of an entrance ramp and a restraining wall that surrounded a shallow pit. The pit absorbed and deflected the blasts made when starships landed or took off. By law, ships with repulsorlifts were required to use them when entering and leaving the docking bays. The docking bay cost 25 credits per day to use. A resupply and restocking service cost 8 credits. Replacement fuel cells cost 10 credits.
