Shortly after her Knighting, Juno was consumed with grief when she learned Master Yorral had been slain by a Judicial trying to hide graft within the Judicial Department. Juno left the Jedi Order, swearing to bring down the corrupt Judicial Department. Her vigilante actions resulted in the her killing Judicial Irilm Yantz, a man who records indicated was connected to the graft and to Yorral's murder, and who often voiced doubts about the leadership of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Juno soon discovered that the records had been forged.

Shortly after her Knighting, Juno was consumed with grief when she learned Master Yorral had been slain by a Judicial trying to hide graft within the Judicial Department. Juno left the Jedi Order, swearing to bring down the corrupt Judicial Department. Her vigilante actions resulted in the her killing Judicial Irilm Yantz, a man who records indicated was connected to the graft and to Yorral's murder, and who often voiced doubts about the leadership of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Juno soon discovered that the records had been forged. On the run from the Jedi and from the Judicials, who wanted to take her before the Supreme Court on murder charges, she found asylum with House Erstvil in Juvex sector. Favored at the Erstvil court due to her wit and charm, she quickly learned how to pass herself off as a proper noblewoman. During her stay in the sector, she saved Archduke Waggle the Woeful from Anti-Cloning Assembly assassins and befriended Jagged Antilles. Juno was distraught when she heard of the Purge. She fled to the Outer Rim but was captured on Saheelindeel by Darth Vader. The Emperor promised her the identities of those who had wronged her if she would serve him as an Emperor's Hand. She agreed, although she knew he would not keep his promise and intended to keep her his pawn forever. She used her position to seek the information she desired behind his back, intending to eventually destroy Palpatine to avenge the order. Juno's lightsaber had a fluorescent black hilt and a golden blade. She owned a Y-wing named Veybeyis and an astromech named R2-M4. She could speak Basic, Mon Calamarian, and Er'Kit. She excelled at running and singing.
