Death-Bot was similar in design to Kill Bot, but appeared to be a more complex design despite having existed earlier. This is likely due to either Death-Bot not being made from the body of a Guy unlike Kill Bot, or technology being streamlined over time. (Sketchbook: "Kurt's Sketchbook")

This is likely due to either Death-Bot not being made from the body of a Guy unlike Kill Bot, or technology being streamlined over time. (Sketchbook: "Kurt's Sketchbook") Death Bot was first named by Bartucus as his favorite PCG character. However, as there was no such character, the creators of PCGs were forced to create a Death Bot.' He appeared in the short story by Xaq, "Anthology", inspired by Bartucus' remarks; he was later discovered to have been drawn in one of Kurt's sketchbooks some time before the short story, for a PCG project. As such, information from both sources was included in this article.
