| - The Triphibian Fighter was designed near exclusively by the natives from the water world of Oris. The concept behind the fighter is a simple one: to have a fighter that can fight in space, in the air, and most importantly to the Orisians, underwater as well. After several prototypes, the Triphibian as the Laro Order knows it today was put into production. In an effort to keep the Triphibian as simple as possible, the fighter has been removed of all non-essential systems, including a hyperdrive. The craft itself is little more than a cockpit and an engine with wings. However, it takes special training to know how to operate these versatile fighters effectively. The bulk of the Triphibian Fighter ranks tend to be Orisian pilots. The Triphibian is incredibly agile thanks to maneuvering thrusters placed on all four of its wings. The wings themselves can be tilted in any direction, allowing the small fighter to change direction at the drop of a hat. Like most Laro craft, the Triphibian is also quite fast, thanks in part to the slimmed down design and large engines. The biggest weakness of the Triphibian is its shields, which are low because the fighter is designed to fight underwater where energy shields are typically useless. To help compensate for this, the Triphibian sports a reinforced hull that gives it decent protection and helps it survive the crushing depths underwater.
