  • The Healer was a potential who made medicines to cure various illnesses from his Red Pill Herbal Remedies shop in Chinatown. While he believed that some ailments were not meant to be cured, and any who attempted were taken by demons for their arrogance, he tried to do so after his daughter fell victim to one of those ailments. When Neo arrived The Healer believed him to be a demon and resigned himself to his fate, and said that he would follow him. Afterwards he showed little regard for his own life; walking directly into the crossfire of SWAT teams shooting at them--to the annoyance of Neo.
  • to the tune of Simon And Garfunkel's "The Boxer" The Healer She is just a poor girlAnd her story's seldom toldHow she aids mortal resistance'Gainst the hordes of undead mummiesGhouls and skeletons.Still now she sits there in the templeAnd casting up her healings while you rest. When she left her home and her familyShe was no more than a girlIn the company of greatersIn the quiet by the gold obelisk.Feeling scared,Feeling low,Seeking out the healer's guildWhere all the healer people go,Healing for the masses,Sharing what they know. Die-d-die! Die-d-die!

Die-d-die! Asking not for any wagesShe went lookin for a jobBut she got no offers,Just the come-ons from the GixOn Papi Avenue.Oh, she'll declare,For that rash, just apply this here balmTo that area down there! Die-d-die! Then she found a god named Whistler,And he gave her a job,And a homeWhere the Midgaard City wintersAren't freezing her,Not at home! In the temple sits a Phoenix,And a healer by her trade. All around her are remindersOf every patient that has laid downAnd was cut until he cried outIn his anger and his pain,"I need healing! I need healing!"So that they can kill again!
