A victory theme, also known as fanfare or flourish, is a short excerpt from a song that plays whenever a Versus match is won. Due to its absence in Super Smash Flash, it was first added in Super Smash Flash 2. Like the Super Smash Bros. games, Super Smash Flash 2 includes a different fanfare for every series, inspired by the universe the character comes from. It is normally a stage clear or victory theme from a game the character previously appeared in, but there are some exceptions.

- A Victory Theme is a part of the character's main theme (or a song) that is usually played when a character wins a match and does their special Victory Pose. For example, if Mario won a match, he would do his Victory Pose while his Victory Theme (which is a part of the Super Mario Bros. theme) is being played. The theme is usually one of the song's in their game. (i.e Lucas has mother music)
