| - Don't let that mere 80% fool you. This beating was worse than the percentages may seem. Samus beat Sam Fisher's ass into the ground so badly that people thought the poll was broken early on. But there was no glitch; Samus simply managed to score the first 27 votes in the poll, which I believe is a record. This match was sort of a predetermined beating in the favor of Samus, but one thing to note is how big Samus's blowout was. Remember, she couldn't break 75% against Isaac, and here she was scoring two 80% blowouts consecutively. We all knew that Samus wasn't going to win the entire contest, but just for kicks, extrapolated strength had Samus as the strongest character in the contest after two rounds. The Samus hype began after this match, and even though we all knew that Samus wasn't goin

The Samus hype began after this match, and even though we all knew that Samus wasn't going to take Cloud down, it was still fun to hop on the bandwagon =) As for Fisher, this was nothing short of pathetic. Losing to Samus is fine, but failing to break 20% on her is pathetic considering his recent exposure. It was a beating from the start, and Samus never let up. Simple as that. If there was any doubt whatsoever as to who was going to win the Chaos division, most of it was gone after this match. Sonic was only performing as expected, while Samus went well beyond her expectations in both of her matches. One match can be overlooked, but not two. All that was left for Samus to do was to actually go out and take Sonic down, and at this point, it looked like she would do so with ease.
