Edward spent most of his life wishing to become a pirate and sail off into the great pirate age to see the world. He spent his childhood desparate to be anywhere but where he was, so he looked at picture book, newspaper, magazines anything that showed his the world outside his island. Eventually he ran out of material other than the newspapers, so to see more he learned how to read maps. He immediately discovered a passion for maps and began trying to make his own. He began studied cartography and in turn navigation, he practiced sailing a small dingy around the island learning every inlet and cove like his very life depended on it.

However the magic of discovering and charting his home island and the sea around could only last so long. At age seventeen Edward joined the Postriatani Pirates (who were in fact the local mafia posing as a pirate crew). Edward has extremely sweet tooth and is particularly partial to ice cream and chocolate.
