| - The Frontacian-Psycian War marked the downfall of the Frontacian Empire. At first, the Frontacians and Psycians co-existed peacefully. After the defeat of The Foe, the Dragons retreated under ground to 'lick their wounds' while the Frontacians began to assert themselves as the dominating power within the known world. Their Empire was linked through a series of magickal gateways. The Empire dominated the known world through its economical superiority. The Psycians played a significant role in this superiority and were the only ones whom the Frontacians looked to as equals. With their powerful Psionics, the Psycians were able to communicate great distances with each other. Working with the Frontacians, the Psycians were able to communicate the needs of supplies back to their Frontacian merchants. The Frontacians in turn were able to immediately send these supplies through the use of their gateways. However, after the discovery of the spells for ESP auras, the Psycians found themselves without need. Instead, they began interfering with Frontacian businesses. To address this problem, the first and only Empress was selected among the dominating households. With the support of other major Houses, the Empress set up a series of gateways on the Psycia, the Psycians' homeland. This was a trap, however, and once activated the entire isle of Psycia vanished forever. However, the backlash from this event caused the gateways around the world to explode, ending the vast network that connected the Frontacian Empire. Unfortunately, this same event claimed the life of the Empress, who was betrayed by her Arachnian slave. With their Empress dead, discontent running rampant, and the destruction of their vast network of gateways, the Sorcerer's Isle plunged in to civil unrest and the Frontacians slowly lost their grasp upon the world.
