Pikachu places the opponent on its back and electrocutes them which will push them forward. It does low knockback at low percentages and in v0.9a, can chain grab the whole cast as such. In one of the early versions of v0.9a, Pikachu had a standing infinite on the entire cast. In the last version of v0.9a, due to the hitstun being nerfed; Pikachu can no longer standing infinite anymore, but is still able to standing re-grab certain characters at low percentages. Pikachu can chain grab the entire cast by dash re-grabbing the opponent.

| - Pikachu places the opponent on its back and electrocutes them which will push them forward. It does low knockback at low percentages and in v0.9a, can chain grab the whole cast as such. In the last version of v0.9a, due to the hitstun being nerfed; Pikachu can no longer standing infinite anymore, but is still able to standing re-grab certain characters at low percentages. Pikachu can chain grab the entire cast by dash re-grabbing the opponent. Pikachu can perform a standing chain grab on the entire cast with the exception of Jigglypuff on stages with moving platforms. The stages that have a moving platform are Smashville, Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Story and Hueco Mundo. Pikachu can only perform the standing chain grab if it is facing the direction the platform is moving due to platform moving Pikachu forward. However, this also requires strict timing and reading where your opponent is D.I.ing. Pikachu is also able to perform a standing chain grab on certain characters when they're on the ledge. In v0.9b, the lower hitstun of the demo and the throw sending opponents at a higher trajectory makes it no longer a chain grab on the majority of the cast. However, Pikachu can still chain grab heavy characters and fast-fallers with the move.
