- Being bound to a wheelchair is often seen as a negative. I, frankly, could not agree any less. Sure my legs are small and weak, but I make up for it in... other places. For instance, I stick to a strict weightlifting and fitness regimen. On even days I work biceps, triceps and pecs. On odd days, it's all about my abs. I'm no fool. I know I've gotten older, but that's no excuse to let myself go—In fact, I doubt I've ever been in better shape. And all of my working out has greatly improved my endurance while doing various strenuous activities. Obviously I can't run a marathon, but I've been known to be able to stay in a push-up position for hours at a time, should the need ever... *ahem* ... arise. And it does arise. All the time.

The main character, known as just The Professor despite being credited as Professor X in most of the episodes, was played by a succession of goofy character actors and kiddie comedians. There were a number of recurring enemies, especially the two cyborg races the XTerminators and the Cybertrons, but also aliens like the Snow Vikings, the Automats, and the Super Intelligence.
- Professor X was a BBC science fiction television series which ran from 1963 to 1989. The show concerned a mysterious scientist who travelled through time and space inside a TASID, a ship which resembled a pillar box on the outside. (PROSE: No Future) Alice Lloyd told the Sixth Doctor that Professor X was always exploring dimensions similar to their own, including one where the Nazis won the Second World War and one where Kennedy wasn't assassinated. (AUDIO: The End of the Line) Dave Young played a Cybertron in one of the final episodes of the series. (PROSE: Escape Velocity)
